Box Score MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (February 26, 2022)- In a game that saw three different Skyhawks record an RBI, the Stonehill College baseball team earned their first win of the season topping St. Thomas Aquinas, 3-2 Saturday morning on their third day at The Ripken Experience.

Key Moments:
- The first four innings were a pitcher's duel as both Gleason and St. Thomas Aquinas College's starter, John Archer went back and forth before Stonehill was able to strike in the top half of the fifth inning.
- Brandon Taylor and Jack Marshall started the inning off by both drawing walks. Kiely ended up driving in Taylor as he ripped a hard hit ball to Jemison at third who bobbled the ball which allowed Taylor to score the first Skyhawks run. Despite grounding out, Lucier drove in Gaspar. In the next at-bat, Blaine Lidsky hit a single to left which scored Kiely to make it 3-0.
- However, in the sixth inning, the Spartans got one run back courtesy of a Billy Minett which also featured a Gregory DiGiaro that led off the frame.
- Despite Saint Thomas Aquinas scoring another run in the eighth off a Danny DiMarzo double, Billy Duff came in the ninth for the save and did not allow a hit while striking out one.
- Overall in his collegiate debut, Gleason tossed five innings, allowed four hits, one earned run, and struck out four. Meanwhile, for the Spartans, Archer went 4.1 innings, allowed one hit, and struck out nine.
