LAKEVILLE, Mass. (February 3, 2024) – The Stonehill College men's tennis team dropped its 2024 spring opener to LIU, 5-2, Saturday afternoon.
Highlights
- Junior Philip Hilble, sophomore Leon Harder, and graduate student Mathieu Vinet led the Sharks as double winners on the day.
- Hilble and Vinet teamed up to earn a 7-5 victory in No. 1 doubles over freshman Jacob Borch-Nielsen and junior Jacob Wilhelm Krefting.
- Harder followed with a 6-2, 7-6 decision at No. 2 singles against Stonehill sophomore Mateo Mallen.
- Krefting and first-year Alexis Chastang picked up the lone victories for the Skyhawks.

- Krefting took down junior Ales D'Anna at No. 3 singles, 6-3, 6-3, just before Chastang finished off freshman Victor Sjostrom at No. 4, 6-4, 6-3.
