BOSTON, Mass. (October 26, 2025) – The Stonehill College equestrian team turned in a strong performance at the Boston University/Tufts Show on Sunday, finishing third overall in the team standings. Highlighting the day was sophomore
Elizabeth Carreiro, who qualified for the IHSA Regional Championships in intermediate fences.
Carreiro secured her regional spot after earning her third top-five finish of the season over fences in the intermediate division. Also competing in the intermediate group were juniors
Hunter Fogell and
Lauren Eager, who placed sixth over fences and fifth on the flat, respectively.
First-year standout
Cora Cotman continued her impressive debut season, capturing first place in open flats before earning a runner-up finish in open fences.
In the limit division, senior
Rosalie Martin claimed first place on the flat and added a second-place finish over fences. Making her collegiate debut,
Jocelyn Plumpton earned a second-place result over fences, joined by classmate
Nora Fitzgerald, who also finished second in the event.
After taking home the top spot in the pre-novice division earlier this season, sophomore
Maddy Clark moved up to the novice division, where classmate
Cadence Scheer finished second overall.
Junior
Maddie Miller rounded out Stonehill's efforts with a fifth-place finish in the introductory division, capping a strong day of results for the Skyhawks.
