EASTON, Mass. (October 6, 2025) – Stonehill College women's soccer first-year
Dani Lomuscio earned her first career NEC weekly honor, being named NEC Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
In addition to Lomuscio's recognition, senior forward
Hannah Anselmo was selected as an NEC Prime Performer for the second time this season. Anselmo recorded her third brace of the year in Sunday's matchup against Wagner, finishing the week with five points on two goals and an assist. She continues to lead the NEC in both goals (9) and points (19) this season.
Lomuscio netted her first career goal and posted her first collegiate multi-point performance against Wagner, tallying a goal and an assist for the Skyhawks. The first-year midfielder also played all 180 minutes across two matches during the week, registering seven shot attempts, including four on target.
Stonehill returns to action on Sunday, October 12, when the Skyhawks travel to Howard University for a 1 p.m. matchup. Fans can follow the action live on NEC Front Row.
