EASTON, Mass. (April 21, 2025) – First-year attacker Meaghan Fealy has once again been recognized by the Northeast Conference (NEC), earning her third Rookie of the Week honor this season. Junior Natalie Coutu also garnered accolades, picking up her fifth NEC Prime Performer selection of the year, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
 
Fealy played a pivotal role in Stonehill's thrilling 9-8 victory over conference rival Le Moyne College on Saturday. The freshman standout scored twice, marking her fifth consecutive multi-goal performance—and her sixth in the last seven games. She netted her first goal with just two minutes remaining in regulation, giving the Skyhawks a late lead. After Le Moyne tied the game with under 90 seconds to play, Fealy delivered the decisive game-winner with only 28 seconds left on the clock.
 
With 29 points on 22 goals and seven assists, Fealy currently ranks third on the team in scoring. She also stands as Stonehill's highest-scoring rookie since Emma Sullivan ('23) and Kendall Fressle ('22), who recorded 42 and 33 points, respectively, during their rookie campaigns in 2019.
 
Coutu continued her standout junior season by leading the offensive effort with a five-point outing against Le Moyne on Saturday, including her ninth hat trick of the year. She added two assists, marking just her second multi-assist performance of the season. Coutu now ranks second in the NEC with 39 goals and 51 points—both career highs.
 
With a 9-6 overall record and a 7-1 mark in NEC play, Stonehill has secured a spot in the upcoming NEC Postseason Tournament and remains in contention to host. The Skyhawks will face Delaware State on Saturday, April 26 in Dover, Delaware. Opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m.
