EASTON, Mass. (May 2, 2025) – Sophomore
Julie Holte (Oslo, Norway) was voted as a 2025 Northeast Conference Women's Tennis Second Team All-Conference member in both singles and doubles, with junior
Anneliese Beltran (Mexico City, Mexico) joining her with doubles honors.
This marks the first NEC All-Conference honorees in program history for the Skyhawks since transitioning to the Division I level in 2022. Holte earns postseason honors for the second year in a row after being named to the NEC All-Rookie Team a season ago.
Holte occupied the No. 1 court for the Skyhawks in singles all season long, posting an 8-7 record overall, including a 5-1 mark in NEC play. Holte dominated NEC competition out of the one spot, dropping her first singles match in the NEC Championship quarterfinals.
Holte helped lead Stonehill to its best season since making the move up to the Division I level, with the Skyhawks going 7-10 overall, including a 3-3 record in NEC action. Stonehill received its highest seeding in program history in the NEC Championships, earning the No. 3 seed.
Holte was also given All-Conference Second Team honors in doubles for her outstanding play with Beltran this season. Beltran picks up her first All-Conference distinction as she and Holte paired up for 12 wins and just four losses, all on the No. 1 doubles court this year.
In conference play, the duo banded together for a 4-2 record, with one of those losses coming in the quarterfinal round of the NEC tournament against Wagner. Beltran also picked up four wins in singles play this season, primarily playing out of the No. 3 court.
