EASTON, Mass. (July 21, 2025) – The Stonehill College women's tennis program has been recognized as one of 222 programs nationally to receive the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team distinction for the 2024-25 academic year. In addition, a program-record-tying seven student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for their outstanding academic performance.
The Skyhawks posted a 3.79 team GPA to secure ITA All-Academic Team honors for the seventh time in program history, marking their sixth selection in the past seven years and second since transitioning to NCAA Division I. Additionally, Stonehill was one of five institutions from the NEC to earn ITA All-Academic Team honors.
Stonehill's ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 academic year include:
Warren, Beltran, Rodriguez, and Holte each earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for the second consecutive year, while Brito do Rio received the recognition for the first time in her collegiate career. First-year students Chabria and Remillard also made the list, with Chabria achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA across the academic year.
The ITA Scholar-Athlete distinction is awarded to student-athletes who achieve a GPA of 3.50 or higher during the academic year. A total of 1,462 Division I women's tennis student-athletes were honored nationally.
