BOSTON – The Stonehill men's track and field team had a strong showing at the BU John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday. Many Skyhawks land in the top five on the NEC Top Performers lists.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS
- Freshman Owen Partridge placed seventh in the 500 meters with a personal-best time of 1:04.80 and put him fourth amongst NEC leaders.
- Junior Matthew Malora posted a time of 1:155.32 in the 800 meters and ranks second amongst the top 10 of NEC leaders.
- Freshman Declan Smith recorded a top collegiate time of 1:55.82 in the 800 meters.
- Freshman Benjamin Tavares also posted a top collegiate time of 1:56.76 in the 800 meters.
- Junior Brendan Wilder registered a personal-best mile time of 4:10.79 and finds himself second amongst the NEC Top Performances List.
- Junior Nicholas Davies recorded a personal-best time of 8:25.66 in the 3000 meters to put him fourth amongst the NEC leaders.
- Sophomore Ethan Fadden's time of 8:42.07 in the 3000 meters put him 13th amongst the conference leaders.
- Junior Dylan Brilliant posted a personal-best time of 14:43.00 in the 5000 meters and lands fourth amongst the NEC Top Performance List.
- Junior Ryan Pereira's time of 15:30.42 in the 5000 meters puts him 10th amongst conference leaders.
- Freshman Daniel Velez's mark of 4.60m in the pole vault lands him second on the NEC Top Performance List.
