EASTON, Mass. (April 6, 2026) – Senior attacker
Grace Murphy of the Stonehill women's lacrosse team has been honored as the NEC Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Murphy, who hails from Kearsarge, N.H., was also named an NEC Prime Performer, along with classmate
Natalie Coutu, a native of Brookline, N.H.
In Stonehill's 17-10 victory at FDU April 4, Murphy scored six goals on only eight shots, while also collecting a ground ball. For the season, Murphy leads the Skyhawks and the NEC with 41 goals, and she has amassed 49 points.
Coutu, who has 21 goals and 16 assists on the year, tied her career-best with six goals in the win at FDU. Coutu was 2-of-3 on free-position attempts, caused a turnover and grabbed a ground ball.
Stonehill (7-6, 4-1 NEC) will visit Wagner (4-7, 4-1 NEC) on Wednesday, April 8 at 3 p.m.
