EASTON, Mass. (October 21, 2025) – Senior forward
Hannah Anselmo of the Stonehill College women's soccer team has been recognized on the national stage for the second time this season after being named to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
Anselmo, who was also honored as the NEC Player of the Week on Monday, earned the national accolade following a two-brace week that powered the Skyhawks to back-to-back wins over Delaware State and Mercyhurst. She netted two goals against the Hornets on Friday before striking twice more on Sunday at Mercyhurst, scoring both of Stonehill's equalizers to set up sophomore
Martha Lord's late game-winning goal.
Anselmo's pair of multi-goal performances marked her fifth of the season — including back-to-back and three in the last four games — as she continues her standout senior campaign. Her 13 goals this season not only lead the NEC and rank fourth nationally in the NCAA, but also represent the most by a Skyhawk in a single season in the past 15 years.
