EASTON, Mass. (July 21, 2025) – The Stonehill College men's tennis program has been recognized as one of 159 programs nationally to receive the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team distinction for the 2024-25 academic year. In addition, five student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for their outstanding academic performance.
The Skyhawks posted a 3.46 team GPA to secure ITA All-Academic Team honors for the fourth time in program history and second since transitioning to NCAA Division I. Additionally, Stonehill was one of five institutions from the NEC to earn ITA All-Academic Team honors.
Stonehill's ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 academic year include:
Mallen, Kröll, Chastang, Borch-Nielsen receive the honor for the second consecutive season, while Duhil de Bénazé earned the recognition for the first time during his collegiate career. Highlighting the Skyhawks inside the classroom were both Kröll, who maintained his perfect 4.0 GPA, and Chastang who registered a 4.0 throughout the 2024-25 academic year.
The ITA Scholar-Athlete distinction is awarded to student-athletes who achieve a GPA of 3.50 or higher during the academic year. A total of 994 Division I men's tennis student-athletes were honored nationally.
