Androlewicz Signs with Pensacola Ice Flyers of SPHL

PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 9, 2026) – Graduate goaltender Connor Androlewicz of the Stonehill College men's hockey team has signed a professional contract with the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the SPHL, the organization announced Monday afternoon.

"We're proud of Connor and excited to see him fulfill his dream of playing professional hockey," Stonehill head coach David Berard said. "Two years ago, he chose to come to Stonehill because he believed in the vision of what we were building. Today, he has played a major role in the tremendous growth our program has experienced during his time as a Skyhawk."

"You always want to leave something better than you found it, and Connor certainly has," Berard continued. "He has earned this opportunity through his work ethic, passion for improving and love of the game. We're excited to watch him take the next step with Pensacola. They're getting a great person and an outstanding teammate."

Over the past two seasons, Androlewicz has been a fixture in goal for Stonehill, appearing in 52 games and recording 1,343 saves. He compiled a .897 save percentage, a 3.19 goals-against average, 15 wins and two shutouts.

The St. Louis native helped deliver one of the program's most significant victories when he backstopped the Skyhawks to a milestone win over No. 9 UMass Lowell on Jan. 18, 2025.

Androlewicz has also set a standard during Stonehill's NCAA Division I era. He became the program's first goaltender to earn a victory against a ranked opponent and recorded the Skyhawks' first Division I shutout when he blanked St. Lawrence University on Nov. 11, 2024.

Androlewicz joins a Pensacola team that currently sits third in the SPHL standings with 57 points and a 25-18-5-2 record this season.
