NE-10 Tournament Champions
15-5-1, 6-3-0 Northeast-10

The 1991 men’s soccer team won a program-record 15 games and showed its postseason experience by hitting its stride in postseason play, winning the program’s second straight Northeast-10 Tournament Championship as the No. 3-seed. Head Coach Ernie Branco’s squad produced four more All-Northeast-10 Conference selections as senior Andy McMahon set a program record with 21 assists to earn All-New England honors as well as leading a list of three All-NE-10 first team picks. Senior Greg Massotti also earned All-NE-10 first team honors after recording a program-record 36 points and sophomore Jason Hammond was the anchor of the Stonehill defense in goal. Freshman Jon Bruno made an immediate impact as a second team All-NE-10 selection while also being named the Conference’s Freshman of the Year. Stonehill opened the postseason with a 2-1 victory over sixth-seeded Merrimack in the first round of the NE-10 Tournament, followed by a 2-1 overtime triumph at second-seeded Bryant in the semifinals. It was rival Bentley again in the championship match and Stonehill was up to the task for the second straight year, recording a thrilling 3-2 triumph over the Falcons who had not lost a league match all year.
