A two-sport standout who excelled on both the field hockey and lacrosse fields during her matriculation at the College, Jackie Ladino ’10 embodied excellence in competition and in the classroom through her career as a Skyhawk.

After beginning her career by helping Stonehill earn berths in both the NCAA field hockey and lacrosse championships, Ladino capped her playing days in style by earning National Field Hockey Coaches Association and Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association first-team All-America honors during her senior campaign. A two-time NFHCA All-American, Jackie was a three-time all-Northeast performer in field hockey and ranks fifth on the school’s career scoring list with 31 goals and 35 assists for 97 points, including 12 goals and five assists for a 29-point performance in 2009. She helped lead the Skyhawks to a pair of league regular season crowns along the way.

Ladino was equally impressive during the spring under the tutelage of fellow Hall of Famer Katie (Lambert) Conover ’03, as she earned All-Northeast-10 accolades during her senior season of 2010 and concluded her lacrosse career with 92 goals and 34 assists for 126 points. Jackie helped extend Stonehill’s run of 10 straight conference championships during her first two collegiate campaigns that also included a berth in the 2007 NCAA Division II national semifinals.

Off the field, Ladino earned the Edward E. Martin Scholar-Athlete Award in 2010 and was tabbed to both the NFHCA & IWLCA All-Academic honor rolls along the way.
