Billy Sittig finished his career as one of the top arms in Stonehill Baseball history. The West Roxbury, Mass native had a 2005 campaign to remember, setting program records for strikeouts in a season and innings pitched. Posting a 2.16 ERA over 12 apperences and 83.3 innings, Sittig finished with a 9-2 record in 2005, collecting Rawlings/ABCA Division II All-American pitcher, Northeast Region Pitcher of the Year, and Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Year awards. Sittig won 23 career games and struck out 286 in 294.0 innings over 54 career appearances with a 2.17 ERA and opposing batters hitting just .212 against him. A Three-time ABCA All-Region first team selection, Three-time All-NE10 first team, and Three-time New England Intercollegiate All-Star Game participant as All-New England selection, he also was awarded the Fr. William Gartland, CSC Senior Student-Athlete Award recipient as a senior.Â
