Amy Bartlett, a 2002 graduate of Stonehill, was a two sport student-athlete at the College with the field hockey and lacrosse programs. She was a standout defensive player in the early years of both programs at Stonehill.

Bartlett is the second female student-athlete at Stonehill to earn Academic All-America honors, behind only tonight’s other student-athlete inductee, Julie Stockwell, ‘00, with a spot on the At Large second team her senior year and was an All-Northeast-10 Conference performer for both field hockey and lacrosse. Barlett was a two-time All-NE-10 honoree for field hockey, with a spot on the first team as a defender her senior year, and three time All-Conference pick for lacrosse, with first team honors as a sophomore and junior as a defender before collecting second team honors after moving to midfield her senior year. Bartlett earned IWLCA All-America second team honors her junior season for lacrosse.

Bartlett served as captain for the lacrosse program her junior and senior years and both teams began to establish themselves among the elite in the Northeast-10 over her career. The Stonehill field hockey program reached the postseason all four years, posting 46 wins over her career with a pair of tournament semifinal appearances. She played 71 games over her field hockey career at Stonehill, compiling four goals and 13 assists for 25 points. She was a leader of a defensive unit which recorded 23 shutouts over her four seasons.

Bartlett was a member of the lacrosse program’s first four varsity seasons, helping guide it to four NE-10 regular season championships as well as tournament winners her last three seasons. Stonehill went 54-22 over her career, including 30-0 in their first four NE-10 seasons, earning NCAA Tournament bids her junior and senior years, with Stonehill finishing as National Runners-Up her senior year. She played 64 games in lacrosse, again spearheading a top defensive units.
