Mark Langone graduated in 2000 and was abaseball standout. He earned Northeast-10 Player of the Yearaccolades during his junior season of 1999 that saw him bat .350with 57 hits, including 14 doubles and seven homers while drivingin 54 runs, and he followed that up in a record-setting 2000campaign with a .339 batting average that featured 64 hits and 47RBIs. On the mound, Langone was just as impressive, posting 22career victories, including a school-record 10 wins in 2000, and hehelped head coach Patrick Boen’s squad to a school-record 34victories as a senior and Stonehill’s first ever appearancein the NCAA Northeast Regional title game.
