Junior Medina, one of only two All-Americans inthe program’s history, started all 195 games of his collegecareer, batting .383 with 203 RBI and 500 total bases.

A three-time first-team all-conference selection, Medina was namedthe 1999 Northeast-10 Freshman of the Year after bursting onto thescene, batting .406 with eight homers and 45 RBI.

He helped lead Stonehill to its first-ever NCAA Tournament berthin 2000, hitting .350 with 11 home runs and 50 RBI.

His senior season was one for the ages, batting .438 with 19homers, 60 RBI while slugging .898. A participant at the Home RunDerby at the College World Series following his senior year, Medinaended his career with 48 homers and 282 hits.

After graduating from Stonehill, he played three seasons ofprofessional baseball, including a stint with the Brockton Rox intheir championship season of 2003.
