Kate Sarkissian had a stellar career as a two sport athlete, starring for both the Women's lacrosse and soccer teams. A four-time All-American for the Skyhawks lacrosse team, Sarkissian featured on two National Championship winning teams while posting a 68-8 career record, including a perfect 39-0 mark in the NE10. Named 2004 IWLCA Division II & NE10 Defensive Player of the Year, Sarkissian helped the Skyhawks lead Division II in team goals against average in both 2004 and 2005. Stonehill posted a Division II-best 4.10 team goals against in going 21-0 and capturing a second National Championship in 2005. Sarkissian helped Stonehill win NE10 regular season and tournament championships all four years as a defender. Also a four-year member of the women's soccer team as a midfielder/forward, she finished her career with seven goals and four assists for 18 points in 53 career games, finishing third on the team in scoring as a freshman.
